Product Features: These dolls belong to the Silifke region.
Product Dimensions: The height of the dolls is 36-37 cm. The width is 10-12 cm.
The clothes are hand-sewn and identical to traditional attire. The boots are made of genuine leather. The kemence (a traditional musical instrument) in the figure is hand-shaped.
Manufacturing Process: Each doll takes 20 days to make. It starts with four wires, two short and two long, being joined together. Short wires become arms, and long wires become legs. A mold is filled with cotton and covered with wool. For fingers, cotton is wrapped around five thin wires, soaked in wool, shaped into fingers and hands, and left to dry. After the wires are assembled, the head and face are formed with cotton and wool, painted, dressed, and left to dry to complete the doll's construction.
The product is sold as a pair. Only one piece is produced.
