Surp Hagop in Jerusalem in 1719 The tiles made for the monastery were laid throughout the church and presented sections from the life of Jesus Christ.


During the repairs in the past centuries, these tiles were worn out and many of them broke and did not survive to the present day.


In this collection, these tiles have been re-painted by very special artists in Iznik, remaining true to their originality.


On the tile it is written "Twenty-seven tiles were given to the Surp Harutyun Church as a souvenir from Hayrabed, the son of Panos, and his brother Apraham, in 1719."
